Mubasher: Qatargas Operating Company Limited (Qatargas) on Sunday announced the delivery of its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo to Pavilion Gas, a fully-owned subsidiary of Pavilion Energy, in Singapore.
“We have great confidence in Pavilion Gas and the Singaporean market, and we look forward to building an even stronger relationship with them in the years ahead," Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, president and CEO of Qatar Petroleum, said.
Qatargas, the world's largest LNG producer, is uniquely positioned to deliver LNG to the Asian nation in line with its commitment to boost energy security in markets across the world, Al-Kaabi, who doubles as Qatargas chairman, added.
In 2013, Qatargas delivered its first operational shipment to Singapore's LNG plant.
The state-run energy company gave no further details on the value of the shipment.
