Qatari bourse back to green, up 127 points

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) turned into green in Monday’s early trading, as the main index gained 1.5% or 127.24 points to the level of 9,654.99 points.

Al Rayan Islamic Index soared 1.85% to 3,117 points, and the All Shares Index was up 1.10% to 2,306 points.

Turnover came to QAR 27.9 million through 710 trades on 1.09 million shares.

The telecom was the best performing sector as it jumped 3.85%, while insurance was the lowest after dropping 0.3%.

Qatari German Medical Devices was the top gainer by 3.85%, whereas Qatar Islamic Insurance came first in the red list as it fell by 6.19%.

The bourse’s benchmark index closed yesterday with a sharp fall of 7.16% or 657.37 points to the level of 8,527.75 points.
