Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index climbed 1.56% or 152.73 points to the level of 9,967.25 points on Thursday.
Al Rayan Islamic Index added 1.77% to 3,534.06 points, and the All Share Index inched up 1.5% to 2,657.59 points.
Turnover increased 71.22% to QAR 392.1 million from QAR 229 million on Wednesday. Trading volume reached 12.27 million shares exchanged through 5,931 trades.
To end stronger, the bourse tracked positive results of five sectors, led by real estate sector which added 2.14%.
Meanwhile, the transportation and telecom sectors were down 0.94% and 0.45%.
Dlala Holding was the best performing share after moving up 6.85% to the level of QAR 11.94, while Ahli Bank was the worst with a fall of 7.72% to QAR 42.61.
Masraf Al Rayan and Gulf International were the heaviest traded stocks with liquidity of QAR 56.37 million and QAR 54.42 million, respectively.
The main index dipped yesterday by 0.59% or 58.61 points to the level of 9,814.52 points.
