Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s main index closed Sunday’s trading rising 1.01% or 108.35 points to the level of 10,789.43 points.
Turnover increased 52.7% to QAR 27.05 million from QAR 179.49 million on Thursday, trading volume also grew by 67.8% to 6.71 million shares from 4 million shares.
The insurance sector led the green list with a growth of 2.03%, followed by the industrial sector which leapt by 1.8% as Industries Qatar headed gainers by adding 3.87%.
The telecom and banking sectors also advanced by 1.4% and 0.53% respectively.
Dlala Holding was the worst performing share after falling by 0.97% to QAR 25.7.
Vodafone Qatar made the biggest trading volume activity with 1.34 million traded shares, while Industries Qatar made the highest liquidity of QAR 42.35 million.
