Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Monday’s session rising by 0.47% or 48.24 points to the level of 10,272.37 points.
Trading volume declined to 8.08 million shares from 11.08 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also decreased to QAR 220.11 million from QAR 2.08 billion.
The industrial sector advanced 2.3% as Qatari Investors topped risers by adding 9.9% and Industries Qatar leapt 2.93%.
The services sector grew 0.74%, backed by an increase of 9.2% in Qatar Cinema and 2% in Mannai.
On the other hand, the banking sector dropped 0.16% as Qatar First Bank (QFB) led decliners after falling by 1.8% and QNB shrank 0.51%.
Qatari Investors made the highest turnover of QAR 29.9 million, while QFB made the biggest trading volume activity of 934,050 shares.
