Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index ended Wednesday’s session rising by 0.64% or 61.79 points to the level of 9,741.71 points.
Trading volume decreased to 10.5 million shares from 11.11 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, while turnover increased to QAR 258.2 million from QAR 244.96 million.
The real estate sector grew 1.14%, the banking sector advanced 0.52% as Doha Bank and QNB leapt by 0.59% and 0.66% respectively.
On the other hand, the telecom sector fell by 2.29% due to a 2.46% drop in Vodafone Qatar.
