Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Sunday’s trading with a rise of 0.09% or 9 points to the level of 9,950.37 points.
Trading volu7me decreased 1.4% to 10.15 million shares from 10.29 million shares exchanged on Thursday. Turnover also fell 9.6% to QAR 299.21 million from QAR 330.9 million.
The insurance, telecom and banking sectors grew 0.44%, 0.1% and 0.01% respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer goods and services was the worst performing sector after falling 1.07% as Medicare Group and Widam Food topped the red list.
Gulf International was the most active stock with a trading volume of 3.34 million shares exchanged at QAR 123.27 million, topping the green list with a rise of 6.47%.
The index closed Thursday at 9,941.42 points after rising 0.54% or 53.03 points.
