Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Tuesday’s session with a growth of 0.96% or 94.07 points to the level of 9,919.32 points.
Trading volume rose by 59.65% to 4.63 million shares from 2.9 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also increased 46.19% to QAR 174.77 million from QAR 119.55 million.
The index was backed by the rise in QNB, Ezdan Holding and Qatar Industries by 0.79%, 1.98% and 0.2% respectively.
The real estate sector was the best performer after leaping 1.98% as Mazaya Qatar and Barwa advanced 2.25% and 1.85% respectively.
The insurance rose 0.87% and the industrial grew 0.7%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector shrank by 0.26% as Ooredoo fell 0.45%.
