Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined at Thursday’s open by 0.22% or 23.28 points to the level of 10,630.55 points.
By 09:00am Doha time, Industries Qatar, Ezdan and QNB shrank 0.62%, 0.53% and 0.27% respectively.
Trading volume reached 901,700 shares exchanged at QAR 33.2 million through 663 transactions.
Five sectors opened in red, topped by the banking sector after falling 0.11% as Ahli Bank, down 2.22%, was the top loser.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector advanced 0.60% as Qatar Islamic Insurance, up 3.47%, topped gainers.
Medicare Group, up 1.69%, led the trading activity with a turnover of QAR 10 million reached through exchanging 151,800 shares.
