Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Thursday's session falling 0.95% or 100 points to the level of 10,534.10 points.
The market's blue chips affected its performance negatively, as Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ), Qatar National Bank (QNB) and Industries Qatar went down 2.41%, 1.15% and 0.37%, respectively.
The telecom sector topped the worst performers losing 1.6%, weighted by Ooredoo which levelled down 2.33%.
The real estate sector decreased 1.3% as Ezdan fell 2.1%. The banking sector was down 1%.
Trading volume hiked 70.8% to 9.63 million shares from 5.64 million shares exchanged on Wednesday; turnover also increased 69.4% to QAR 434.5 million from QAR 256.54 million.
