Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s main index retreated in Wednesday’s early trading by 0.57% or 61 points to the level of 10,589.98 points.
The insurance sector was the worst performer after dropping by 0.95%, pressured by the fall in Doha Insurance by 3.81%.
The Industrial sector also declined 0.88% as Gulf International led the red list with a 4% decrease.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods and services sector rose alone by 0.4%, backed by the positive performance by Al Meera and Woqod which advanced by 1.05% and 0.65% respectively.
Qatar Industrial Manufacturing topped gainers by adding 2.2%.
Gulf International made the highest trading activity with a trading volume of 605,630 shares exchanged at QAR 21.35 million.
