Qatari bourse opens early trade in red

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatari bourse’s main index continued its losses in the early session trading on Monday, amid a fall by most of its sectors. The index declined by about 0.69% to 10,761.04 points, after losing about 74 points.

Both the Al Rayan Islamic Index and All Shares Index slipped by 0.60% to 4,047 points and 0.68% to 2,868 points, respectively.

Trading value came to around QAR 17.47 million reached from executing about 388 trades on 517.19 shares.

The telecom sector was the lowest performer in early trade with a 1.77% decrease.

Tracking stock performance, Qatar Islamic Bank rose by 0.69% to top the green list, while Gulf International led the red list with a drop of 1.93%.

QSE main index closed Sunday with a fall of 0.22 or 24 points to 10,836.19 points.
