Qatari bourse opens in red; all sectors down

Doha - Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index opened Tuesday in the red zone, as it fell 1.53% or 135.38 points to the level of 8,713.48 points.

Al Rayan Islamic Index plummeted 2.13% to 3,082 points and the All Shares Index dipped 1.43% to 2,318 points.

Turnover reached QAR 42.02 million through 578 transactions on 1.1 million shares.

Services was the worst performing sector as it declined 2.22%, followed by real estate with a 2.11% decrease, while insurance came least in the red list with a drop of 0.38%.

Dlala Holding topped gainers by adding 1.54%, whereas Almeera headed losers as it moved 6.74% lower.

The bourse’s main index closed Monday at the level of 8,848.86 points after falling 1.48% or 132.75 points.
