Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s main index declined in Sunday’s early trading by 0.19% or 20.43 points to the level of 10,631.88 points.
By 10:00 AM Doha time, trading volume reached 414,390 shares exchanged through 402 transactions, making a turnover of QAR 16.2 million.
The index was pressured by the fall in Qatar Electricity and Water, Masraf Al Rayan, Industries Qatar and Ezdan by 2.58%, 0.83%, 0.56% and 0.15% respectively.
The industrial sector was the worst performer after dropping by 0.7%, followed by the insurance and transportation sectors with a fall of 0.44% for each.
Meanwhile, the banking and consumer goods sectors were the only gainers after adding 0.20% and 0.19% respectively.
