Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Wednesday’s trading with a fall of 0.02% or 1.67 point to the level of 10,254.85 points.
The fall was due to the decline some blue chips as Qatar Electricity and Water, QNB and Barwa Real Estate retreated by 0.68%, 0.58% and 0.14% respectively.
Trading volume reached 328,500 shares exchanged at QAR 19 million through 334 transactions.
The transportation sector advanced 0.16%, the industrial sector rose 0.07% and the services sector grew 0.06%.
Meanwhile, the banking sector fell 0.29%, the telecom sector shrank 0.10% and the real estate sector dropped 0.09%.
