Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s main index dropped in Monday’s early trading by 0.01% or 1.33 point to the level of 11,196.15 points.
Trading volume reached 452,800 shares exchanged through 303 transactions by 10:00 AM Doha time, making a turnover of QAR 14.5 million.
The index was affected by the fall in QIIB, Al Meera, Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding and Doha Bank by 0.75%, 0.64%, 0.42% and 0.13% respectively.
The real estate sector topped the red list after falling by 0.20%, followed by the consumer goods and banking sectors as they declined by 0.11% and 0.10% respectively.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector grew by 0.13% and the transportation sector leapt by 0.02%.
