Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Wednesday rising 0.13% or 12.27 points to the level of 9,768.65 points; the second rise in a row.
Trading volume came to 4.5 million shares exchanged at QAR 161.92 million, versus 2.3 million shares exchanged on Tuesday at QAR 123.56 million.
The industrial sector was the best performer after rising 1.16%, thanks to a 8.54% surge in Mesaieed Petrochemical.
The banking sector leapt 0.55%, backed by a growth of 2.19% in the Commercial Bank of Qatar.
On the other hand, the real estate sector fell by 0.67% as Ezdan Holding shrank 1.07%.
