Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) advanced in Tuesday’s early trading by 0.16% or 17.14 points to the level of 10,976.96 points.
By 10:00am Doha time, trading volume reached 783,420 shares exchanged at QAR 31.7 million.
The banking sector leapt 0.45% as Masraf Al Rayan, the top gainer, grew1.95%, and the real estate sector ascended 0.15% due to an increase of 0.32% in Ezdan.
On the other hand, the industrial and transportation sectors fell 0.28% and 0.13% respectively.
Salam International topped losers after falling 1.81%.
Commercial Bank of Qatar led the trading activity with a volume of 196,800 shares and a turnover of QAR 6.5 million.
