Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) grew on Tuesday by 0.35% or 35.27 points to the level of 10,140.79 points.
Trading volume increased to 4.7 million shares from 3.39 million shares exchanged on Monday, while turnover decreased to QAR 142.6 million from QAR 162.83 million.
The telecom sector was the best performer after rising 1.47%, backed by a 1.9% rise in Ooredoo.
The banking sector also leapt by 0.73% as Al khaliji Bank advanced 2.76%.
The industrial and transportation sectors levelled up 0.36% and 0.2% respectively.
Meanwhile, the real estate and consumer goods sectors shrank by 0.29% and 0.19% respectively.
