Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s main index fell in Thursday’s mid trading by 1.03% or 112.41 points to the level of 10,876.38 points.
Trading volume reached 4.3 million shares exchanged at QAR 205.4 million through 2,641 transactions by 11:00 AM Doha time.
The fall was a result of the decline in banks stocks as Al Khaliji topped the red list with a 3.41% decrease, Commercial Bank of Qatar and QIB retreated by 1.9% and 1% respectively.
The telecom, real estate and transportation sectors fell by 1.7%, 1.36% and 1.17% respectively, while the insurance sector grew alone by 1.52%.
