Qatari bourse up 0.07% at open

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 0.07% or 7.7 points in Thursday’s early trading, reaching the level of 10,299 points.

Al Rayan Islamic Index and the All Share Index leapt 0.41% and 0.31% respectively.

Trading volume reached 5.13 million shares exchanged at QAR 123.8 million ($34 million) through 2,015 trades.

Dlala Holding was the best performer after adding 6.04%, while Qatar Navigation was the worst after falling 4.06%.

Qatar Navigation yesterday approved cash dividends at 50% of the company’s capital or QAR 5 ($1.37) per share.

Mazaya Qatar was the most active in terms of volume with 1.31 million shares exchanged at QAR 18.63 million ($5.1 million). The stock rose 3.48%.

Meanwhile, Gulf International made the highest turnover through liquidity of QAR 574,210 ($157,706). The share grew 3.12%.

The bourse’s main index closed yesterday with a rise of 0.9% or 91 points to 10,291.33 points.
