Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index ended Thursday’s session rising by 0.27% or 28.6 points to the level of 10,717.34 points.
Trading volume increased to 14 million shares from 13.1 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also rose to QAR 395.71 million from QAR 353.14 million.
The industrial sector grew 0.7%, backed by an increase of 1.15% in National Cement; the real estate sector advanced 0.64% due to a rise of 2.64% in Mazaya Qatar and 0.70% in Ezdan.
Meanwhile, the banking sector dropped alone as Alijarah, down 2.72%, was the worst performing stock.
Salam International Investment topped risers with an increase of 2.95%.
Mazaya Qatar was the largest-traded stock as 3.46 million shares were exchanged at QAR 52.04 million.
