Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Sunday’s session rising 0.34% or 34.37 points to the level of 10,872.35 points.
Trading volume reached 1.3 million shares exchanged through 800 transactions at QAR 52 million.
The index was backed by a rise in five sectors, topped by the industrial sector with a growth of 0.66%, followed by the telecom and banking sectors as they leapt by 0.56% and 0.3% respectively.
Meanwhile, the real estate, transportation and consumer goods sectors fell by 0.42%, 0.15% and 0.15% respectively.
