Mubasher: Qatar's minister of economy and commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassem bin Mohamed Al Thani has called on Qatari businessmen and investors to create investment portfolios in different sectors in the US.
These portfolios will help local businessmen build partnerships with US companies and engage in successful investments, Al Thani added in a statement on Monday.
The minister noted that there are over 5,000 US employees working in the Qatari private sector.
Moreover, Ali Shareef Al-Emadi, the minister of finance, affirmed that Qatar will invest $35 billion in the US over the coming five years.
