Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index moved back to the red territory after one hour of trading on Thursday, as it plummeted about 0.92% or around 97 points to 10,457.47 points, amid a fall by most of its sector,.
Also, QE Al Rayan Islamic Index declined about 0.48% to 3,899 points and the All Shares Index shrank 0.91% to 2,784 points
Trading value reached about QAR 72.50 million through around 1,216 trades on 1.66 million shares in early session.
The telecom sector fell 3.14% to lead the red list, while services advanced 0.23%.
National Medical Care was the best performer in early trading as it rose 2.23%, while Ooredoo was the weakest after losing 4.04%.
The bourse’s benchmark index closed Wednesday in green after rising 0.19% or about 19.6 points, reaching the level of 10,554.60 points.
