Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Tuesday’s session in green, backed by a positive performance of five sectors.
The main index rose 0.44% or 45.47 points to the level of 10,490.4 points, Al Rayan Islamic Index grew 0.77% to 3,974.48 points and the All Share Index advanced 0.7% to 2,867.91 points.
Trading volume decreased 1.04% to 9.51 million shares, while turnover rose 15.29% to QAR 415.01 million ($113.98 million).
Consumer goods and services was the best performing sector as it added 3.77%, followed by transportation (+0.26%), real estate (+0.79%), industrial (+0.62%) and banking (%0.36%).
On the other hand, telecom and insurance fell by 1.99% and 0.02% respectively.
The bourse’s main index rose yesterday by 0.29% or 30.28 points to the level of 10,444.93 points.
