Qatari index loses 42 points in early trade

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatari index kicked off Thursday’s trading in red, as it declined by about 0.43% or 42 points to 9,975.98 points.

Also, Qatar Stock Exchange’s (ASE) Al Rayan Islamic Index fell about 0.68% to 3,671 points, and the All Shares Index plummeted 0.39% to 2,659 points.

Trading value reached about QAR 3.17 million through 138 trades on 142,400 shares.

The banking sector led the red list with 0.90% lower, while the services sector was on top of the green list as it went 0.18% higher.

In early session, a drop in traded shares was detected, as Gulf International Services was the best performer after advancing 2.01%, while Qatari Investors Group was the weakest share with a fall of 3.45%.

The QSE’s main index closed Wednesday in red after declining by 0.77% or about 77.67 points, reaching the level of 10,018.84 points.
