Qatari index loses 52 points in early trading

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index opened the week in red, as it fell by about 0.50% or 52 points, reaching the level of 10,426.53 points.

Also, Al Rayan Islamic Index plummeted about 0.54% to 3,874 points and the All Shares Index slipped 0.48% to 2,776 points.

Sunday’s early trading value reached about QAR 14.54 million through executing 318 trades on around 293,300 shares.

The industrial sector was the weakest performer after moving 0.96% down, while the insurance topped the green list as it added 1.56%.

Islamic Holding Group share led the earners in early trading after advancing 2.90%, while Qatar Fuel (Woqod) declined 1.56% to head the red list.

QSE’s benchmark index closed Thursday with a fall of 0.71% or about 75.32 points, reaching the level of 10,479.28 points.
