Qatari indices rise in early trade

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatari index kicked off Monday’s trading with a rise of 0.25% or 24.58 points to the level of 10,352.42 points.

Al Rayan Islamic Index also leapt 0.07% to 3,870.06 points, and the All Share Index advanced 0.12% to 2,800.59 points.

Trading volume reached 2.34 million shares exchanged through about 1,000 transactions worth QAR 53.4 million ($14.66 million).

Qatari German for Medical Devices was the best performing share in early trading as it grew 4.16%, making the biggest trading volume with 803,780 shares, while Qatar Industrial Manufacturing was the worst after falling 8.14%.

Barwa Real Estate made the highest trading value with liquidity of QAR 15.45 million ($4.24 million).

The main index rose yesterday 0.15% to 10,401.6 points.
