Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Wednesday with a fall of 0.42%, reaching 10,245.87 points.
Al Rayan Islamic Index also dropped 0.25% to 4,046.84 points, while the All Share Index rose 0.01% to 2,860.68 points.
Trading volume decreased 42.5% to 10.76 million shares from 18.73 million shares exchanged yesterday. Turnover also fell 11.6% to QAR 438.74 million ($120.50 million) from QAR 496.6 million ($136.39 million).
The industrial and telecom sectors shrank 0.42% and 0.11% respectively, while transportation and consumer goods and services advanced 0.94% and 0.29% respectively.
Qatar Investors Group topped losers by falling 4.49%, whereas Gulf Warehousing headed the green list after adding 5.22%.
Mazaya Qatar was the largest-traded stock with 1.23 million shares exchanged at QAR 18.78 million ($5.16 million), while Gulf Warehousing made the highest liquidity with QAR 59.39 million ($16.31 million).
