Qatar – Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) slipped in Thursday’s early trading, as sectors collectively moved lower led by banks.
At 11:00am Doha time, the main index fell by 2.72% or 2.72 points to reach 9,796.26 points. Meanwhile, Rayan Islamic Index lost 2.37% to 3,608 points and All Share Index moved down by 2.6% to 2,613 points.
Traded value amounted to QAR 111.3 million, generated from executing 1,864 transactions on 2.8 million shares.
The banks sector lost 2.95%, followed by real estate that shed 2.72%, while services tailed the list with a decline of 1.77%.
Doha Insurance was the best performing stock, with 3.25% growth, while Gulf International led the red list with a drop of 6.34%.
