Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) was down in Thursday’s early trading after the benchmark dived 1.61% or 166.8 points to 9,238.35 points.
Al Rayan Islamic index slipped by 2.83% and the All Shares index slid 1.72% to 3,358 and 2,465 points, respectively.
Trading value totalled QAR 77.4 million through 761 transactions on 1.5 million shares.
The industrial sector was the worst performer as it dropped 2.71%, while insurance was the best player after inching up 0.06%.
Ezdan Holding was the strongest stock as it grew 1.83%, whereas Medicare was the weakest through a drop of 5.58%.
The main index plummeted yesterday by 0.76% or 71.71 points to 9,405.38 points.
