Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Sunday’s trading with a fall of 0.36% or 36.11 points, reaching the level of 10,128.65 points, squandering the 0.26%gains it made early.
Meanwhile, Al Rayan Islamic Index declined 0.06% to 3,963.98 points, and the All Share Index slid 0.26% to 2,820.5 points.
The real estate was the worst performing sector after falling 1.02%, followed by banking, telecom and transportation which decreased 0.53%, 0.38% and 0.19% respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer goods and services, insurance and industrial sectors rose by 1.11%, 0.65% and 0.21% respectively.
Dlala Brokerage and Investments Holding topped the red list after falling 2.62%, while Doha Insurance headed gainers by adding 8.30%.
Masraf Al Rayan made the highest trading activity with a volume of 991,380 shares and a turnover of QAR 34.15 million ($9.38 million).
The bourse’s main index rose on Thursday by 1.33% or 133.74 points to the level of 10,164.76 points.
