Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s main index declined in Monday’s early trading by 1.93% or 21.81 points to the level of 10,106.84 points.
Trading volume reached 1.27 million shares which were exchanged at QAR 45.3 million ($12.44 million) through 715 transactions.
The insurance and industrial sectors were the worst performers after falling by 1.34% and 0.33% respectively, while consumer goods and services was the best with a growth of 0.61%, followed by real estate with a 0.17% increase.
Qatar Insurance topped losers after shrinking 1.93%, while National Leasing Holding (Alijarah) headed the green list by adding 7.06%.
The bourse’s main index fell yesterday by 0.36% or 36.11 points to the level of 10,128.65 points.
