Qatari stocks gain 31 points at open

Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) kicked off Monday’s trading in the green zone, as it edged up 0.3% or 31 points to the level of 9,958.11 points.

Al Rayan Islamic Index also went up 0.44% to 3,673.94 points, and the All Share Index jumped 0.36% or 9.64 points to 2,705.27 points.

Trading volume came to 1.33 million shares exchanged at about QAR 47 million through 1,010 transactions.

Zad Holding was the best performing share by adding 4.27%, while Doha Insurance was the worst after falling 5.57%.

Gulf International was the most active with a trading volume of 320,000 shares valued at QAR 12 million, with the stock rising 1.49%.

The bourse’s main index closed Sunday at the level of 9,927.94 after rising 0.82% or 80 points.
