Qatari stocks lose 26 points in mid trade

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined 0.25% or 26.41 points to the level of 10,340.52 points in Thursday’s mid trading.

Al Rayan Islamic Index and the All Share Index also shrank by 0.65% and 0.2% respectively.

Trading volume reached 6.6 million shares which were exchanged at QAR 240.4 million through 3,570 transactions.

Qatar Industrial Manufacturing was the best performing share with a growth of 7.61%, while Medicare Group was the worst after falling 10%.

National Leasing Holding (Alijarah) was the most traded stock. It saw trading of  891,800 shares worth QAR 19.25 million, and fell 5.04%.

IIn terms of trading value, Medicare Group prevailed, generating QAR 44.21 million after 400,000 shares changed hands.

The bourse’s benchmark index rose yesterday by 0.68% or 69.54 points to the level of 10,366.93 points.
