Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) benchmark index shrank 2.38% or 275.20 points to 8,772.02 points in Wednesday’s early trading.
Al Rayan Islamic Index and the All Shares Index dipped 2.82% and 2.26% to 3,125 and 2,330 points, respectively.
Turnover reached QAR 46.4 million through 895 transactions on 1.55 million shares.
Meanwhile, services was the worst performing sector as it fell 4.31%, followed by real estate with a drop of 3.40%. Insurance logged the least losses as it declined 0.81%.
The green list was empty in early trading, while Almeera led decliners as it lost 6.91%.
The main gauge closed yesterday with a rise of 5.51% or 470 points to 8,986.50 points.
