Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) slipped 0.53% or 52.68 points to the level of 9,864.84 points in Thursday’s mid-trading.
Al Rayan Islamic Index moved up 0.33%, while the All Share Index edged down 0.04%.
Trading volume reached 4.49 million shares exchanged at QAR 139.16 million through executing 2,330 transactions.
The banking, real estate and insurance were the worst performing sectors as they dipped 0.62%, 0.3% and 0.29% respectively.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector was the best performer after adding 0.88%, followed by consumer goods and goods (+0.57%) and transportation (+0.04%).
Gulf Warehousing topped gainers after rising 7.61%, whereas Salam International Investment headed losers after falling 3.15%.
The benchmark index broke below the level of 10,000 points on Wednesday, as it shrank 0.85% or 85.28 points to 9,917.52 points.
