Qatari stocks open in red; all sectors down

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Sunday’s trading with a fall of 0.88% or 91.46 points to the level of 10,304.79 points.

Al Rayan Islamic Index and the All Share Index also declined by 1.16% and 0.79% respectively.

The bourse’s sectors slid collectively, topped by consumer goods & Services which lost 1.98% and followed by real estate as it dropped 1.72%.

Trading volume reached 2.5 million shares through 1,280 trades. Turnover came to QAR 72.81 million.

Medicare Group was the worst performing stock after falling 9.93%, while Dlala Holding topped gainers by adding 4.91%.

Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding was the most active with more than one million shares exchanged at QAR 20.8 million, with a stock rising 4.27%.

The main index rose on Thursday by 0.28% or 29.32 points to the level of 10,396.25 points.
