Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s benchmark index rose 0.78% or 78.48 points to the level of 10,109.50 points in Thursday’s early trading.
Turnover came to QAR 112.13 million ($30.8 million) as 2.56 million shares were exchanged through 1,620 transactions.
The consumer goods and services was the best performing sector with a growth of 2.29%, while the insurance was the worst with a fall of 1.15%.
Qatar Fuel (Woqod) topped gainers by gaining 3.48%, whereas Qatar Islamic Insurance headed the red list after dropping 2.16%.
The bourse’s main gauge advanced yesterday 0.22% or 22.25 points to the level of 10,031.02 points.
