Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchanged opened Tuesday with a fall of 1% or 102.33 points to the level of 10,132.03 points.
Al Rayan Islamic Index also declined 1.5% or 60 points to 3,937.55 points and the All Share Index was off 0.94% or 26.6 points to 2,816.58 points.
Trading volume reached 2.5 million shares which were exchanged at QAR 90 million ($24.72 million) through 1,458 trades.
Widam Food was the best performing share after gaining 0.69%, while Mazaya Qatar was the worst with a 3.3% decrease.
Qatari Investors Group was the most active with a trading volume of 577,000 shares and a turnover of QAR 32.9 million ($9.03 million). The stock rose 0.17%.
The bourse’s main index fell yesterday by 0.17% or 17.6 points to 10,234.36 points.
