Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) financed about 9,100 micro- and small enterprises during 2019 at a total value of EGP 244.23 million, governor of Qena, Ashraf El-Daoudi, said.
Such funding is part of the governorate’s efforts to encourage young graduates to start their own business and become entrepreneurs, El-Daoudi remarked in a statement on Tuesday.
Over the course of 2019, a total of 495 small enterprises were financed by EGP 130.24 million, while micro-enterprises were financed by EGP 114.11 million, he noted.
