Mubasher: The extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of Qurain Petrochemical Industries approved to distribute 14% of the capital as cash dividends for the fiscal year ended on 31 March.
The Boursa Kuwait-listed company will pay 14 fils per share as dividends at a total value of KWD 14.54 million for the FY ended last March, according to a bourse statement on Sunday.
It is noteworthy that Qurain Petrochemical has a capital of KWD 109.92 million distributed on 1.04 billion shares in addition to 58.91 million treasury shares.
Qurain Petrochemical achieved a growth of 1% in profits to KWD 35.2 million in the last FY, compared to KWD 34.9 million in the same period a year ago.
At the stock level, Qurain Petrochemical closed Sunday’s session 1.78% lower at 331 fils.
