Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Ras Al Khaimah Cement Co. (RAK Cement) has continued with its share buyback programme in recent days, as it bought back 2.13 million shares in the three sessions between 11-15 November.
On 10 November, the company repurchased 380,370 shares, or 0.895% of capital at AED 0.84 each for 180,370 shares and AED 0.85 each for 200,000 shares.
Meanwhile, the company bought back on 12 November 1.17 million shares, or 2.786% of capital, at AED 0.82 each.
The cement producer also repurchased on Monday a total of 573,000 shares at AED 0.79 each.
Accordingly, the total number of treasury shares rose to 15.55 million, while the number of remaining target shares fell to 40.35 million, RAK Cement stated.
