Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics (RAK Ceramics) reported a 24.2% drop in profits during the second quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period of 2015.
Earnings shrank to AED 65.31 million ($17.78 million) in Q2-16 from AED 86.10 million ($23.44 million) in Q2-15, the company said in a recent bourse statement.
RAK Ceramics’ operating profits decreased by 4.4% to AED 86.11 million in Q2-16 versus AED 90.05 million in Q2-15.
During the first half this year, profits reached AED 131.18 million, 10% down from AED 145.6 million in the same half of 2015.
