Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance on Sunday, amid active trading especially on RAK Ceramics.
The general index fell 0.19% or 8.45 points to reach 4,472.20 points.
Trading volume reached 114.121 million shares on Sunday, compared to 58.80 million shares last Thursday. Turnover stood at AED 223.611 million, compared to AED 114.202 million.
RAK Ceramics generated AED 139.517 million from the exchange of 45.057 million shares.
The real estate sector slid 0.83% as Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties retreated 1.25% and 0.72% respectively.
The banks sector decreased 0.2% as First Gulf Bank (FGB), Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) tumbled 1.27%, 0.8% and 0.54% respectively.
On the flipside, the energy sector increased 1.44% as Dana Gas went up 1.79%.
