Dubai - Mubasher: The director of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) in the Dubai Land Department (DLD) said on Monday that the agency aims at increasing the real estate investment funds and institutions’ stake in the emirate’s property sales.
Currently, real estate and property sales in Dubai are dominated by individuals.
Marwan Bin Galita also told reporters on the sidelines of the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition that a new draft law is currently being studied to attract investment funds, especially international funds such as pension and retirement funds among others, in order to attract more investments to Dubai’s real estate market.
Bin Galita expects a rise in the real estate investment funds’ interest especially with the increase in returns, as well as the good opportunities that are available for purchase in the meantime.
