Dubai – Mubasher: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has awarded an AED 14.87 million contract for constructing entry roads to the Culture Village from the Sheikh Rashid Street in cooperation with Dubai Properties Group.
The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2018, according to the RTA statement.
“The project aims to link the Culture Village with the surrounding roads network at Al Jaddaf through providing additional entry and exit points in the area,” said Maitha bin Adai, CEO of RTA’s Traffic and Roads Agency.
“The project is intended to enhance the safety of road users, and ease the traffic congestion on Al Khail Road where the area is witnessing a significant rise in the number of heavy vehicles,” Maitha added.
