Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The gross domestic product of Ras Al Khaimah increased by 4.2% to nearly AED 27 billion in 2014, compared with AED 25.9 billion a year earlier.
Most of the sectors and activities witnessed strong growth in 2014, Director of Department of Studies and Statistics Taleb Al Hayali told the state's news agency WAM.
He added that GDP estimates showed that the extractive and manufacturing sector contributed 34% to the GDP, while the building and real estate services sector contributed 14% and 10%, respectively.
