Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Ras Al Khaimah received 16,000 Indian tourists in 2015, a surge of 81% compared to figures from previous year, according to Press Trust of India.

The emirate expects to see a rise in Indian travellers in 2016, the news agency said, adding that India is likely to continue to grow as a key source market for Ras Al Khaimah

“India is our fourth largest source market after Germany, Russia and the UK,” said Haitham Mattar, CEO, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.

Ras Al Khaimah targets to achieve one million visitors (from all over the world) by the end of 2018.
